“You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich...strengthen the weak by weakening the strong...bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift...lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down...build character and courage by taking away people’s initiative and independence...help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves." -Abraham Lincoln
Hello everyone! I hope you have had a great weekend. We had a lot of wind over the weekend, with frost, forecast for this morning. I have found three more shops for you to check out. Get something warm to drink and lets go for a visit. The week I have one artist, who has three shops. Jessica is a busy lady who makes folk art and angry dolls for the shop Pocomedio, weaves rugs for the shop Snug As A Bug Rug company, and has Clutter Junkie filled with vintage items. Each shop is filled with wonderful items, for your home or would make a wonderful gift. Enjoy your visit with Jessica, and then type OFG Team into the search bar for more wonderful artist from the Old Farmhouse Group Team. Have a great week, and will see you next Monday!

There hasn't been much said about the military mom. Yet no wars could ever have been won without her! A military mom is a teacher of independence, perserverance, discipline and integrity, possesses a great sense of humor and can make of any house, a home. She is a woman of quiet strength who has shaped the hearts of our Bravest Heroes and taught them to value peace above all else. The military mom is unshakable in love for her country. That is how she is able to let go of her most precious treasure. A son or daughter. We proudly salute and thank the "Military Mom".
