Abe Lincoln

“You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich...strengthen the weak by weakening the strong...bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift...lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer character and courage by taking away people’s initiative and people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves." -Abraham Lincoln

Some more Christmas and my winnings

In my laundry room I have a very small tree filled with washboards and clothes pins.  I have a small set of lights on it and  it is great to have on while doing laundry.

Today I was baking cookies, pies tomorrow, Roast Beef Christmas Day, Ham and Cheesy potatoes Sunday.  I have family coming on Sunday.  I will have family and friends around and this is what Christmas is all about.
I won this cute snowman from Yorkie's Primitives, and some extra goodies.  I have them on the schoolhouse clock in the living room.  The candle smells so good!

Have a Blessed Christmas Weekend!

Rose I know that this is late but I love the Christmas Tree in your laundry room! I will have to do that next year.
I am glad you liked your snowman and candles. I hope you have a wonderful New Year, Valerie
