Dirtroad Team with Dixie Dreams and Montezumamudd

Please take a few minutes to visit with two of the shops from the Dirtroad Team.  The first shop is Dixie Dreams, where Robin lives on the island of Kodiak in Alaska.  Robin a Army Veteran and her husband fell in love with the island when they first laid eyes on it.  Always carrying a camera, she never runs out of pictures to take, thanks to the wonderful wild live around her.  Robin photos Eagles, whales, bears and flower.  Plus she has some amazing pictures of the Northern Lights and some clouds.  If you need to take a quick trip this is the shop to visit.  I would love to visit Alaska, but her shop will have to do in the mean time.  Someday I will make this trip. The next shop Montezumamudd and is in Mancos, Colorado. Phyllis the owner and one of our team leaders and love to play with clay. Each piece of pottery is made by hand. Using simple forms they make for great everyday use. The decals that Phyllis uses are from her sister Connie who hand draws them for Phyllis to use. You will find casserole dishes, pie plates, mugs, crocks and more. From a soft green to burnt clay brown and most with two colors of glaze. You will find a wonderful piece or two of pottery for your home. If you live in small town, come and join us. We love all forms of art and love living in small towns.
