Abe Lincoln

“You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich...strengthen the weak by weakening the strong...bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift...lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer character and courage by taking away people’s initiative and people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves." -Abraham Lincoln

Old Farmhouse Gathering on Artfire - Donna Studio

Welcome to Monday and spring is here!  Flowers are starting to come out of the ground, and the grass is turning gree.  Before you run out and enjoy a spring day, stop over Donna Studio.  Donna is a new member to the Old Farmhouse Gathering on Artfire, with an amazing shop.  Inspired by watching her mother growing up drawing and sewing, this self taught artist has a shop filled with art for you to look over.  Check out her artisan gallery at some of the amazing work she has done.  Donna make wall quilts, mazaics, hand sewn items, photograph, and stain glass.  Love the mozaic stain glass bird houses.  Welcome Donna to the Farmhouse!

Wonderful work--a real eye for color! I love that birdhouse too, it's not every day that you see a red glass birdhouse--maybe for some really classy cardinal!
Smiles, Karen
