“You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich...strengthen the weak by weakening the strong...bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift...lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down...build character and courage by taking away people’s initiative and independence...help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves." -Abraham Lincoln
Welcome friends. Today I have two more wonderful shops for you to visit. Each artist making very different pieces of art. The first shop belongs to Christina from Bad Cat Creation. She makes and designs jewelry, and each is a one of kind item. If you are not sure if it will fit, send out a email, and Christina will see if she can adjust it for you. Do you have a wedding or special event coming up, Christina can also make something very special for that special day. Christina also has a store in downtown Bemidji, MN, so if you are in the area stop by and visit with Christina. The next shop is Sufie, where you will find Susan and her sweater pencils and paint brushes. Susan believes that we all need a reminder to believe in ourself and just be creative. The sweater pencils and paint brushes are to add some color and enjoyment to your studio. Susan has a wonderful web site. http://www.susanfield.com, filled with her wonderful work. This is one busy artist, and some amazing one of kind items. Each artist in the Dirtroad team makes their items, there is no buy sell of products, and each lives in a small town somewhere in the world. Stop by the team web site http://www.dirtroadart.com and visit with all the other members, with a link to their Etsy shop.

There hasn't been much said about the military mom. Yet no wars could ever have been won without her! A military mom is a teacher of independence, perserverance, discipline and integrity, possesses a great sense of humor and can make of any house, a home. She is a woman of quiet strength who has shaped the hearts of our Bravest Heroes and taught them to value peace above all else. The military mom is unshakable in love for her country. That is how she is able to let go of her most precious treasure. A son or daughter. We proudly salute and thank the "Military Mom".
