Abe Lincoln

“You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich...strengthen the weak by weakening the strong...bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift...lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down...build character and courage by taking away people’s initiative and independence...help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves." -Abraham Lincoln

Monday Market with Old Farmhouse Gathering

Welcome friends!  I have three more great shops from the Old Farmhouse Gathering Team.  So grab something warm to drink and your Christmas list and lets see if we can not check off some names, or maybe all of them today.  The first shop is Scaredy Cat Primitives.  Carrie has filled her shop with signs, candles, dolls, bottle caps, and bookmarks.  Take a close look at the wonderful candles in vintage tea cups.  Great gift and wonderful way to make your home smell wonderful this holiday season and next year.  The next shop is Sherri Berry Crafts.  The name of her shop came from a nickname from her Grandmother.  You will find hand painted tags, center pieces, and hand sculpted snowmen.  Check out the Sheriff Smart and Black hat Bart snowmen.  This would make a wonderful gift for the snowmen collector on your list.  The last shop today is Signs of Patriotism.  This retired military family loves all who are serving and America.  You will find military signs for all branches of the military, plus everyday and inspirational signs.  Do you have a military mom on your list this year, then this is the shop for you to check out.  Enjoy your visit and come back next week.
