“You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich...strengthen the weak by weakening the strong...bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift...lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down...build character and courage by taking away people’s initiative and independence...help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves." -Abraham Lincoln
Welcome friends and please take a minute to visit another great artist from the Dirt Road Team on Etsy. Lauren is going to school for counseling and plans to graduate in the spring of 2011. Just around the corner! YEA! She works as a graduate assistant plus some arts and crafts during breaks from school. She recycle wine bottles into lamps by painting on them and adding lights. She also paints wine glasses. Lauren can make custom glasses for wedding, or graduation gifts. What a wonderful gift for the graduate having beautiful wine, champagne, beer, margarita, or juice glasses in their school colors. She can also match your dishes for a complete custom look to your dinning or kitchen table. Come back next week and meet another artist from the Dirt Road Team.

There hasn't been much said about the military mom. Yet no wars could ever have been won without her! A military mom is a teacher of independence, perserverance, discipline and integrity, possesses a great sense of humor and can make of any house, a home. She is a woman of quiet strength who has shaped the hearts of our Bravest Heroes and taught them to value peace above all else. The military mom is unshakable in love for her country. That is how she is able to let go of her most precious treasure. A son or daughter. We proudly salute and thank the "Military Mom".
