“You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich...strengthen the weak by weakening the strong...bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift...lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down...build character and courage by taking away people’s initiative and independence...help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves." -Abraham Lincoln

Monday Market with Old Farmhouse Gathering

Welcome to the first day of November.  We have 54 days to shop for Christmas, so grab something good to drink and lets get this list taken care of.  I have three shops from the Old Farmhouse Gathering  so lets get started.  The first shop is Rock River Stitches, where Tammy has pincushions, coin purses and lots of e-patterns.  Make something for each season of the year, or to give as a gift.  She also was featured in the Patchwork Quilting with a special quilt she made for her daughters high school graduation, what a honor to have.  The next shop is Rocking Chair Stitches - also filled with wonderful patterns and table runners.  Save some money and make some gifts this years and this shop is a great place to start.  The last shop today is Sawdust and Stitches.  They are having a huge sale going on so another great shop to save some money with.  There is a sign for everyone on your list, but please order early for Christmas giving.  Come back next Monday for some more great shops from the Old Farmhouse Gathering, enjoy your visit this week.
