“You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich...strengthen the weak by weakening the strong...bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift...lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer character and courage by taking away people’s initiative and people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves." -Abraham Lincoln

Monday Market with Old Farmhouse Gathering

Hello blog friends!  I hope everyone is enjoying the end of summer.  With all the high temperatures and humidity we have been having I'm looking forward to some cooler weather, not cold cold, just cooler.  I have three more shops from the Old Farmhouse Gathering for you to visit today.  The first shop in Handmade by Bette.  Bette makes clothes pin bags, feed sack pillows, pot holders, and the very best lost sock bucket.  Next please stop by and visit with Ilene from Happy Valley Primitives.  She has been sewing from early childhood, making dolls and fabric mats.  The last shop for you to visit is Harvest Moon Prims, where Marilyn makes makes bowl fillers, dolls, and candles.  All three shops have wonderful items in them, and you will enjoy your visit with all three.  Please stop by next Monday for three more shops from a great team on Etsy.
