Abe Lincoln

“You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich...strengthen the weak by weakening the strong...bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift...lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down...build character and courage by taking away people’s initiative and independence...help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves." -Abraham Lincoln

Monday Market with Old Farmhouse Gathering

Welcome!  Today I have three new members of the Old Farmhouse Gathering Team.  So please take a minute to visit their shops, and give them a big welcome.  The first shop is Log Cabin Memories, where you will find Mary Jane hand painted items.  She paints with oils and acrylics on items she finds.  Check out the chalkboard with sunflowers and ribbons.  Then stop by and visit A Touch of Sunshine.  Tammy cuts wood using her own patterns, and paints them up.  Love the Fall wood letters.  The last shop belongs to Ella from Dolls and Bunnies, and she comes to us from Israel.  She makes dolls and bunnies, her work is just wonderful.  My favorite is Basil the Country Mouse.  These are the kind of mice we need in our home, and not the other kind.  All three shops offer different items, and I know you will find your own favorites.  So please give them a heart, and keep them in mind for all of your gift giving.
