Abe Lincoln

“You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich...strengthen the weak by weakening the strong...bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift...lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down...build character and courage by taking away people’s initiative and independence...help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves." -Abraham Lincoln

Sunday Artisan Market

Good morning, and Happy Friday!  On Fridays I ask you to read and in some cases visit the etsy shops of some of the talented artist from the Sunday Artisan Market in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  The first group is three ladies who love nature, and show their love of nature in their art work.  Marie Rust does drawings, photograhy, Lori Taylor works in mixed media while Lisa Ramlow does some amazing wood working.  All three ladies also volunteer to help with our environmental issues.  The next artist is Kristin Perkins who does glass jewelry, making her own beads to use in her own jewelry designs.  Kristin was also a featured artist on etsy, so when you visit her shop you can read some more on this wonderful talented artist.  Then visit with Jorie who makes Feathbees.  Feathbees are whimsy, magical, ooak.  From sculpture to original watercolors, they live in land rich in culture, color and history.  I have their wonderful works to the right of this posting.  Shop on line with everyone or come down to the market on Sunday and visit all of them in person.
