Abe Lincoln

“You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich...strengthen the weak by weakening the strong...bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift...lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer character and courage by taking away people’s initiative and people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves." -Abraham Lincoln

Dirtroad Team - From Victory Road

Welcome friends, we are in the middle of the month with summer starting next week.  Time is going fast!  I have found two more great shops for you to visit from the Dirtroad Team.  The first shop is From Victory Road.  Living in a 100 year hold farmhouse in rural Kansas, this couple gets their creative journey through faith and life.  You will find lamps made from recycle items, note cards, paintings, and art supplies.  Amazing mix of talent and art, something for everyone. Here is link to this shop and a few of my favorites!

The next shop from the Dirtroad Team is EcoCessory.  Krystine makes wonderful scarves, headband, and hair clips all from organic cotton, soy and bamboo.  After finding out one of her children was allergic to petroleum, and that items marked all natural may still contain some petroleum by products, she was off looking for materials that would not bother in child.  She has done a great job of find yarns that are soft, silky and long lasting.  This may be June but one of her amazing scarves would add to your fall or winter wardrobe.  Maybe you have someone special on your holiday list that could use a new hair clip or scarf.    Here is the link to her shop and some of my favorites:

EcoCessory Soft and Cuddly Cotton Cowl - Spring Green

EcoCessory Organic Cotton Ruffled Scarf - Ecru

Eco Friendly Organic Cotton and Bamboo Headband - Medium - Free Shipping to USA

Enjoy your visit with these two amazing shops.  Type drat dirtroadteam into the search bar on Etsy for more amazing shops from artist living in small towns!
