Welcome to the Monday after the super bowl. Are you into watching the game or the great commercials? I like the commercials myself, although some make you wonder what they are selling. Today I have a great shop from the PAFA Team for you to check out. Val is the lady behind this cute shop on Etsy. Named after her grandmother and the one who helped Val make her first apron for 4H. Val has her shop filled with stitchery, hand painted wood, and dolls you will find something for each season. Val also does custom work and will do combined shipping. Send her a email or convo for what you are look for. I love the Easter Basket with the eggs stitchery, what will you fall in love with?

This Saturday is going to be fun with a pie contest taking place at the back of the cafe. Also tickets will be on sale for the hog roast coming up on March 3, 2012 from 11 AM to 2PM. The price for the ticket are $9.50 a plate. Please visit the market web site for more information on this and other up coming events.
Like always there are great vendor selling fresh food for you to take home, or stop by the cafe for some breakfast or lunch.
Here are some of the vendors you will find this Saturday and most Saturdays at the market.
The first vendor his Hickory Knoll Farms Mike drives in from Onondaga, MI with fresh goat and cow milk cheese. Stop by and taste their wonderful cheese. Across from Mike is Debbie from Captain John Smokehouse. Debbie comes to us from Bad Axe, MI with freshly made beef sticks, summer sausage, and jerky. They have many flavors to pick from and you can find them on their web site. Wonderful to have on hand for the Super Bowl this Sunday.
Next is Glen from Jar Head Salsa. Glen comes to the market from Grand Blanc, MI. He has fresh salsa and chips for you to purchase and try out. Great to have on hand this Sunday for the Super Bowl. You can find out more about them and where you can purchase salsa at from their web site.

Dirt Road Team - Flynn Orchards and Coffeehouse Suds
It is happy Wednesday. I have two more shops from the Dirtroad Team for you to visit with today. The first is Flynn Orchards. Bonnie and her husband own a farm in the upper part of Michigan. This busy couple grows their food, can it and sell not only on the internet but at a lot of local farm markets. Bonnie not only cans and bakes in their USDA Certified kitchen she makes fingerless gloves and heat therapy bags. Their Etsy shop is filled with cookies, flavored marshmallows, jams and jelly. Good food will be found here.
The next shop is Coffeehouse Suds. This soap is filled with soap that looks to good to use and beauty products. Suffering from Eczema if it irritates her skin she will not sell it. Most are vegetable bases but some do have goats milk, bees wax and honey in them. You can smell them through the computer they look so wonderful. Great shop to also spent some time in. Remember if you live in a small town, check out the Dirtroad Team on Etsy. We are open to all forms of art and are willing to help each other out.

Monday Merchant with Paint Spots and Splinters
Please join me in visiting this wonderful shop on Etsy. Vicky from Paint Spots and Splinters paints primitive with some whimsy to create her own style. Her love of painting on wood helped with her shop name, Paint Spots and Splinters. Not only does she paint on wood, she also paints on fabric. Most of her work is done with acrylic paint, but she can also paints with oil. This busy mom of six (with a set of twins) is always willing to help her team mates.
